About the Church:

Purpose:

The Church exists to carry the original intent of of Lord when he brought our Church into being and under his continuing inspiration to maintain in purity the force to restore the Ageless Wisdom, maintain the Esoteric Tradition and manifest his Christoic Succession.

Catholic:

We most passionately hold sacred, that which is best summed up in the word Sacramentalism. To us the essence of our Catholic religion, the core of truth and beauty that gives us all its wonderful vitality, is its sacramentalism, not its doctrinal structure. Thus the Esoteric Catholic Church offers to the world a sacramental teaching and worship as exquisitely beautiful as any to be found in either the eastern or western traditions.

History:

The Church was created by a group a Apostles brought together by our Lord Jesus Christ himself. They elected Master Paul Blighten as Director Genereal in San Francisco, California in 1961. The Esoteric Council called their now Order "The Holy Order of Mans". In 1972, the Order Branched to Des Moines Iowa, when the Master Shane McGlothlen was elected Adept/Bishop. The Esoteric Council called the order "The Brotherhood of the New Order". In 1989, Master Adam Beaudion was elected to the Esoteric Council and in 1991 he initiated the effort to adopt the distinguished title of "The Esoteric Catholic Church of America" in the way "The Order" became "The Church". The Church maintained the Esoteric Tradition, Degrees of Initiation, and Theosophy as well as creating a metaphysical connection with the Liberal Catholic Church. The Arizona chapter was incorporated in 1992 where the Church is presently headquartered in Mesa Arizona, with Master Adam Beaudoin as the Adept/Bishop and Master Carlos Esquivel as the Church's Director General.

Philosophy:

The Church teaches the existence of God manifesting as the creative Trinity, Man is sharing the divine life and nature and is therefore eternal destined to attain a glorious state of godlike perfection. We grow through repeated lives of experience under the divine law of absolute justice. Each individual reaps the fruit of his or her thoughts, feelings and deeds, good or bad, life after life. Death is followed by a period of readjustment when the soul releases itself from any attachment to evil and reaps the reward of good deeds in a Utopia of blessedness. Realizing ones need for more earthly experience or service to humanity in order to evolve towards perfection the soul reincarnates taking on a new body and life circumstances which reflect both what it has earned and learned in preceding lives.

Holy Orders:

Our Holy Orders are derived from other movements in the world today, which have become independent from Rome centeries ago. The Church combines in itself the Ancient Traditions of the past and the New Age Church of the furture, affirming itself to be a true part of the Catholic Church of Christ throughout the world. This Church is a living Catholic Church growing in that it maintains that the Catholic Church can and must keep pace with human evolution and enlightenment.

Our Comission:

Our Comission was created by a group of Apostles brought together by our Lord Jesus Himself. We have raised our consciousness to that our Lord and realized that he has called a new and Higher Order of Priesthood into the World. Through divine relevation our comission from the Lord Jesus Christ adn the White Brotherhood has been revealed, so we proceed having a "Apostolic Mission" of our own. This Church has "Divine Right" and does ordain those who shall go forth and establish Christ's Christoic Succession for this New Age.

The Priesthood:

In the Esoteric Tradition and Degrees of Initiation, the Church clearly shows the descent of the Holy Spirit, ordainging both men and women in keeping with the Great Work; priests are neither forbidden or enjoined to marry. Our priests claim no authority over an individual's conscience, stress is laid on thier function as ministerm priests of the divine sacraments, ready to serve those who ask or need their grace.

The Episcopate:

All authority in spiritual matters resides with the body of Adept/Bishops known as the Esoteric Council. The administration of the Sacraments, the Mass, rituals, principles, doctrines and the interpretation of divine law rests with this council. The council operates under the chairmanship of its elected Regional Adept whose actions are always subject to council approval.

Ordination:

It is a necessary requirement that all candidates for ordination accept the metaphysical and theosophical principles adopted in 1989. New initiates for the priesthood are selected and consecrated by the Esoteric Council of the Adepts/Bishops. The Esoteric Council is the final court of appeal in all maters concerning the "Christoic Succession" of the Priesthood.

The Esoteric Tradition:

The Doctrine of Evolution through Reincarnation did not serve those Fathers of the Church in the 4th century. Instead, the Heaven/Hell theology appeared a better doctrine to control the minds of the people. An ecclesiastical plan was put into place and reincarnation was successsfully knocked down at the Second Council of Constantinole {553 A.D.} As a result of violent oppression, the Esoteric Tradition was forced into secrecy for centuries.

Esoteric Christianity:

This "Truth" now known as "Esoteric Christianity" was resurrected through the Qabbalistic, Masonic and Rosicrucian fraternities of the 17th and 18th Centuries. Theosophy became the cradle of Gnostic and Esoteric Christianity in the 19th century. Due to the relative diminishment of religious intolerance in the early 20th century, a historic effort to create a lasting revival of Esoteric Christianity was successfully undertaken. This "Great Work" became the "Apostolic Mission" of both the Liberal and Esoteric Catholic Churches.

Reincarnation:

The Doctrine of Evolution through Reincarnation being repeated lives on Earth is not alien to Christian teaching or tradition. It is historically correct to say that many early Christians believed in this teaching or repeated lives. Notably among those early Fathers were Origen (182-251 A.D.) and St. Clement of Alexandria (150-213 A.D.). From Scripture, these teachings can be drawn from remarks made by our Lord Himself (Matt 17; 9-13 and John 9; 1-2).

Esoteric Doctrine:

In 1989, the Esoteric Council of Adept/Bishops confirmed with the insistence of its Clergy and members that the teachings of "human evolution into the Stature and Fullness of Christ, through repeated lives on earth," the doctrines of evolution and reincarnation were officially instituted by the Esoteric Catholic Church of America, stating "The sacraments along with theses doctrineshave always been and are now the bed-rock upon which this Church is erected".

The Goddess:

The Esoteric Catholic Church recognizes and pays deep homage to, the Mother Nature of God, as embodied in our Blessed Virgin Mary. Because or her spiritual attainment she was chosen to be the mother of the last great Avatar and Savior of the world, our Master Jesus, the Christ. After she had fulfilled her role as his mother, Mary transcended our earth becoming the highest expressing of maternal divinity, our Goddess and World Mother, the Queen of Heaven.

The Ageless Wisdom:

Man has been compelled to uncover the secrets of his own identity, the riddle of our existence, and the mysteries of our universe. In this quest for Truth, there has always existed an ageless underlying wisdom. The illuminated sages have tended this Eternal Flame throughout antiquity and passed on to the elite of each generation the Mysteries of the Esoteric Tradition. The Greater Mysteries which comprise the Ageless Wisdom is channeled and can only be comprehended intuitively.
